Airtel Delhi Half Marathon

2019


In 2019, E&H Foundation marked a significant milestone, participating in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) for the fifth consecutive year. This year's event held special meaning as it represented five years of dedication to the cause of quality education for underprivileged children. E&H Foundation was among the 100 charities that actively participated in this marathon, harnessing the platform for a social cause. Notably, the foundation forged a meaningful partnership with Mr. Narendranath Damodaran, who ran alongside them for the fifth consecutive year, inspiring everyone with his unwavering support. Mr. Damodaran, a passionate development sector professional and avid runner, exemplified the values of commitment and hard work on the marathon track. E&H Foundation was also proud to be associated with individuals like Biswanath Reang, who continuously supported the cause of quality education. In the previous year's ADHM, Biswanath had run 10 kilometers, and in 2019, he aimed to complete a full 21 kilometers, showcasing his dedication to driving change. The marathon attracted over 40,000 participants, both young and old, who left their beds early on a Sunday morning to support this noble cause. E&H Foundation's commitment to quality education was further exemplified as their board members and even one of the youngest supporters, Ms. Shreeja Chandra, actively participated. In 2019-20, E&H Foundation expanded its support to educate 7,500 underprivileged children in India, with a vision to reach 1 lakh children by 2030.

2018


In 2018, E&H Foundation continued its journey of participating in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) for the fourth consecutive year. The event, held on October 21st, saw the enthusiastic involvement of numerous non-profits, corporates, and individuals. E&H Foundation actively engaged with organizations such as PRADAN, KPMG, Quartz, Zefmo, and others, who ran alongside them to raise awareness about the cause of quality education. This year was particularly successful as the foundation received support from 40 individual donors, enabling them to sponsor children's education and learning materials in Farrukhabad. E&H Foundation had been dedicatedly working towards its mission of providing quality education to 1,00,000 children by 2030, and the ADHM 2018 event marked another significant step in that direction. Their unwavering commitment and growing partnerships were indicative of an organization making a meaningful impact on the lives of underprivileged children.

2017


In 2017, E&H Foundation participated in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) for the third consecutive year. Held on November 19th, this 10th edition of ADHM, under the title sponsorship of Bharti Airtel, attracted a larger and more enthusiastic crowd. The foundation partnered with employees of Hindustan Powerprojects Private Limited, who shared a strong belief in the cause of education. Alongside them, young students from Sri Ram College of Commerce and Gargi College in Delhi ran in solidarity. Interns at E&H Foundation also shared their experiences, emphasizing the importance of education awareness. ADHM 2017 was a massive success for E&H Foundation, as funds raised during the event contributed to providing quality education to underprivileged children in Farrukhabad and Lucknow. The foundation continued to make a difference, leading towards the betterment of young minds by providing them with quality education.

2016


In 2016, E&H Foundation actively participated in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) for the second consecutive year. ADHM, a much-awaited sporting and social event in Delhi, organized by PROCAM with the partnership of India Cares Foundation, served as a platform for fundraising and contributing to quality education and healthcare for underprivileged children. The event took place on November 20, 2016, and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of a team comprising 50 dedicated individuals running for the noble cause. Through their collective efforts, the foundation raised more than ₹30,000 for their programs, emphasizing the importance of education for all underprivileged children. The ADHM 2016 event showcased the unwavering commitment of E&H Foundation to create a positive impact on the lives of these deserving children.

2015


In 2015, E&H Foundation embarked on its journey of participating in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) for the very first time. The event, organized by Procam in partnership with India Cares Foundation, presented an excellent opportunity to contribute to the cause of quality education for underprivileged children. About 140 friends and supporters of E&H Foundation ran together in the Great Delhi Run category on November 29, 2015. All participants proudly wore E&H Foundation t-shirts, displaying their commitment to supporting education for underprivileged children. The event not only marked the foundation's initial participation in ADHM but also laid the foundation for future endeavors to make a lasting impact on the lives of underprivileged children through quality education. Trustees and advisory board members showed great enthusiasm for the event, and their active participation highlighted their dedication to the cause of quality education. E&H Foundation took its first step toward creating meaningful change and impacting the lives of underprivileged children, setting the stage for a series of successful ADHM participations in the years to come.
