Fast Facts

Why Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh is by far the largest state in India and would be the fifth largest administrative unit in the world after China, India, USA & Indonesia if it were a country. Being part of the EAG states, UP’s development lags far behind the Millennium development targets fixed for the country. As HDI in UP is one of the lowest, the E&H Foundation will focus its work in the state, thereby building India by developing UP.
